Welcome to
Dornoch Cathedral
Come & worship with us at 11:00 am every Sunday
evening Songs of Praise from mid-May to mid-September at 7pm.
We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland. The Cathedral is a 13th Century Parish Church set in the heart of the Royal Burgh of Dornoch, seeking to serve the wider community in which it lies along with its sister churches. The parish extends out from Dornoch to Embo, along Loch Fleet, staying on the south side of the Loch as the road crosses the A9, up past Little Torboll to Loch Buidhe down via Sleastary to the sawmill at Ospisdale and then on down to the Dornoch Firth – following the Firth along on the northern side until it reaches Dornoch again.
There will be a concert given by the University Chamber Choir at 6pm on Monday, 13th June in the Cathedral. Entry is free however, donations towards the Cathedral are very welcome. We look forward to seeing you. Please see our Facebook page for the latest events and other information.
In Cathedral Sunday morning: 11.00am – communion and other services around the community are available.
We maintain an active Facebook Page. Other news and Cathedral related stories are in our news page.
We welcome visitors to the Cathedral – some history information here.
Activities for all age groups are supported by the Cathedral.
Visit the main Church of Scotland for news about the church.
